The Monday Before He Comes Home

They were riding the “bull”

This is the day we have waited 2 weeks for. Hunter always comes home on Tuesdays, which means the day before (Monday) is filled with deep cleaning the house. Meaning it’s time to tackle the laundry and dishes I have let pile up for the past two weeks, scrub the floors & bathrooms. Make sure there is at least one cold Dr. Pepper in the Fridge and the bottle of Dawn Dish soap in the shower. ( If you’re an oilfield wife you totally understand why they need the Dish Soap). Hunter has never asked me to do these things for him before he arrives home I just respect him. I respect that for the past two weeks he’s lived in utter misery. Two weeks in a disgusting house with a lot of other men who have zero respect for anyone else’s stuff. Two weeks he’s spent away from his own house to provide for us. I know you know how exhausting this day is, like you need a whole bottle of wine and a long soak in the tub just thinking about it but he is so close to being home you can just feel the sigh of relief! The least we can do it just clean the dang house.

Kaysen finally got matching “fishing” shirts like daddies for Christmas

It’s so funny how Kaysen has realized this means my daddy is coming home soon. Monday’s are full of “My Daddy is Coming Home”,“Me is so Happy” him expressing all the things he is going to do with his daddy as soon as he gets home. I always wonder what it feels like for them. You know, the two weeks. Is it short for them or long and drug out? Do they realize just how long daddy is gone or are they just so accustomed to it that it’s just the normal?

Happy Monday Everyone! Let’s Conquer This Week! ❤️

Hi! I’m Madison & This Is Hunter

I’m a wife to my high school sweetheart. We were married in June of 2016 after dating for 3 years and the birth of our oldest son in May of 2016 I guess you could say we did things a little backwards, but I wouldn’t have it any other way! I grew up with my dad working on a Rig, so when Hunter decided to take this Journey in October of 2017 I honestly thought it would be a breeze but boy was I WRONG.

We have Two Boys

This is our sweet and oh so handsome 3 year old Kaysen Layne. Hunters favorite movie growing up was 8 Seconds so we gave him the middle name Layne, we just added a Y in there! He is an outdoors boy. Hunting & Fishing is what he lives for this boy can tell you what you need to catch the fish you want. He loves dancing oh y’all this boy has some moves!

Then, of course we have our SPUNKY hard to handle red headed 1 year old Graysen Rhett. He loves Baseball seriously y’all you should see this boy hit a ball. He has the best belly giggle that will light up your day & when he says no that means NO.

We are the Garcia’s & Welcome to our Page!
